Peru's agency for promoting tourism, PromPerú, will launch a campaign to promote tourism and exports in France and Korea in late March through early April, according to a resolution published Monday by the ministry of foreign trade and tourism.
PromPerú will hold the “Roadshow Francia” in Paris and Nice from March 28 to April 2. The event is aimed at tour operators and travel agents as a way to put a spotlight on Peru as a destination of choice.
PromPerú is also set to attend the “Sea Food & Hotel 2011” fair in the city of Seoul, Korea on April 26-29 in a bid to show and promote export offer of gourmet products from seven Peruvian companies.

Promperu’s participation in this fair is supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The seven companies will be able to display their gourmet food products in a shared premium stand financed by the sponsorship money.
The IDB will also host the conference “How to export food to Asia” on April 25 in Korea with the aim of identifying guidelines for meeting health and sanitary requirements in exporting food to Japan and Korea.
Peru has also recently announced that it will join forces with Columbia and Chile to jointly promote tourism in the three countries in numerous locations in Asia and the Middle East.
