LA CONFIANZA DE PERÚ AVIVA EL CONSUMO INTERNO



Lima, Jan. 26 (ANDINA). Peru's domestic demand soared 13.8 percent last November, accumulating an expansion of 12.7 percent during the first 11 months of 2010, Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR) reported Wednesday.
Peru’s private consumption grew 6.6 percent in November, showing an increased consumption confidence, and increased consumer credits granted by banks, supermarkets and department stores.

According to the BCR, based on the information provided by the Ministry of Production, November also recorded an increase in the production of massive consumer goods.

Shampoo, cocoa, and yogurt production registered growths of 82, 34.5 and 31.3 percent respectively.

In turn, detergent, bottled water, and evaporated milk production rose 19.2, 15.9 and 11.4 percent, respectively.
